Carefree Senior Housing | Phoenix, Arizona

Carefree on North Central is a 36-unit senior housing project located in central Phoenix. One and two-bedroom units are created through renovation of an existing residential structure and the addition of five new two-story buildings that include “prototypical”  interlocking units with story and a-half living rooms. Standard unit layouts allow mirrored plan arrangements and 180 degree rotations within the site plan. Footprints insure that outdoor space is defined for semi-private yards at unit entries.

Carefree Senior Housing | Phoenix, ArizonaTypical units are designed to provide flexible interior space with high volume ceilings and natural light provided on two sides of each living room. Fully-accessible bathrooms feature roll-in “European” showers.  A common clubhouse is provided through renovation of an existing house, complete with provision of an exercise room, common living room with fireplace, kitchen, computer area and game room. The clubhouse building is located at the center of the elongated 1.67 acre site, with parking provided along the west side of property and through a dedicated parking lot at the north end of the site.
